Our Mission
Finding the price of a medical test in Bangladesh can be a frustrating experience. Prices vary significantly between hospitals and diagnostic centers, and this information is rarely available in one place — forcing patients to make uninformed decisions under pressure.
MedTestBD was created to solve this problem. We are building a centralized, easy-to-use platform that empowers patients with clear, comparable, and regularly updated information on medical test prices across Bangladesh. We believe that price transparency is essential to making better healthcare decisions.
Who We Are
MedTestBD is an independent platform run by a small team based in Chittagong, Bangladesh. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or paid by any hospital or diagnostic center. Our only goal is to help patients make informed decisions.
The site was founded in 2024 and currently covers 120 medical tests across 19 hospitals and diagnostic centers in Bangladesh.
How We Collect Prices
Our prices are collected through the following methods:
- Published price lists — Many hospitals publish official price lists on their websites or notice boards. We source directly from these.
- Direct verification — Our team contacts diagnostic centers by phone to confirm prices.
- Community contributions — Registered contributors submit prices they have personally paid, which are reviewed before publishing.
All prices are marked with a last-updated date. Prices can change without notice — always confirm with the facility before visiting.
