๐ Price Contributors
Real people submitting real prices from labs across Bangladesh
How the contributor program works
Diagnostic test prices in Bangladesh change often, and no single source โ including hospital websites โ always reflects the current rate. MedTestBD relies partly on contributors: real patients and lab visitors who submit the price they were actually charged, usually from a receipt or invoice, so other patients can see up-to-date numbers rather than outdated ones.
Every submission is reviewed before it's published. We check it against existing listings and, where possible, the hospital's own rate card, so the leaderboard reflects genuine, verified contributions rather than guesses. Submitting a price takes about a minute: pick the hospital and test from the form, enter the amount you were charged, and optionally attach a photo of your receipt to speed up verification.
The top 3 contributors each month win a mobile recharge as a thank-you, but most people contribute simply because accurate pricing helps the next patient avoid overpaying or being surprised at the counter.
You don't need to be a regular patient to contribute โ a single price submission from any visit, even a one-off test, is useful and counts toward the monthly leaderboard. If you're unsure about an exact amount (for example, if a hospital charged a bundled rate for several tests), mention that in the optional notes when submitting so our review team can interpret it correctly rather than rejecting it outright.
