I edit MedTestBD. The site collects medical test prices from diagnostic centers across Bangladesh and puts them in one place so patients can compare before they book. I handle what gets published, keep the price data current, and write the plain-language guides that sit alongside each test.

What I do here

My job is to make the information on this site accurate and easy to read. That means checking prices against public sources, updating them when they change, and making sure every test page explains the test in language a patient can follow. When a hospital or a reader tells us a price is wrong, I review it and correct it.

I am not a doctor, and MedTestBD is not a medical provider. The health information on this site is written for general awareness, not diagnosis or treatment.

Where our information comes from

Prices come from public sources: official price lists published by hospitals and diagnostic centers, direct confirmation by phone, and submissions from readers that we check before publishing. Every price carries a last-updated date. Prices change often, so we always tell readers to confirm with the facility before visiting.

Medical information — normal ranges, what a test measures, how to prepare — is based on public health references, mainly MedlinePlus (US National Library of Medicine) and the World Health Organization. Where a range varies by lab or method, we say so and point readers to their own report and doctor.

Found a price that is out of date, or a mistake in a test description? Every price row has a "Wrong price?" button, and you can reach me directly at contact@medtestbd.com. I read these and fix errors quickly.
