(English) • Fasting for 4–6 hours may be required before a CT Scan Whole Body, especially if contrast dye will be used. • Drink plenty of water unless your doctor advises otherwise. • Inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking and any history of kidney disease, diabetes, asthma, or allergies. • Inform the doctor if you are allergic to contrast dye, iodine, or seafood. • Pregnant women or patients who may be pregnant should inform the doctor before the scan. • Remove jewelry, glasses, watches, hearing aids, and all metal objects before the procedure. • Wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothing. • You may be asked to bring previous imaging reports and medical records. • This imaging test is used to examine internal organs, bones, blood vessels, and other body structures in detail.
